About HomeSystemsTested

Installed systems last for years and touch wiring, plumbing and HVAC. The wrong thermostat will not run your heat pump, a hub can lock you into one ecosystem, and a backup battery is only useful if it is sized to the circuits you need. HomeSystemsTested explains those requirements and compares products on them.

We cover smart-home platforms, climate and air quality, home energy and backup power, security and access, and water protection. General gadgets belong to TechGrounded and drinking-water filtration to WaterCriteria. Electrical and gas work should be done by a licensed professional where your local code requires it.
